HBO Video is proud to announce the DVD release of the highly coveted Curb Your Enthusiasm - The Complete Second Series, available to buy from the 18th October 2004.

Larry David, the co-creator of Seinfeld, returns once again to play himself in ten further hilarious episodes, which effortlessly blur the lines between fiction and reality. This series proves how seemingly trivial details of one's day-to-day life can precipitate a chain of misfortune to hilarious effect.

And so once again Larry unwittingly finds himself in all sorts of compromising situations. At a visit to the Lakers open season home game he accidentally injures Shaquille O'Neal, alienating the whole of Los Angeles in the process. A visit to a masseuse results in him unknowingly requesting a hand-job; a friend accuses him of aiding the death of his father and a mistaken gesture results in a melee with a professional wrestler, on top of which Larry is accused of being a self-hating Jew, a misogynist, a wife beater, a thief, and much much more.

Series 2 features appearances from guest celebrities playing themselves, including Rob Reiner, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Shaquille O'Neal. Curb Your Enthusiasm also stars Cheryl Hines as David's wife Cheryl and Jeff Garlin as his manager Jeff Greene.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is shot without a script, with the cast given scene outlines from which they improvise lines as they go. The result is an unpredictable format that's unlike anything else on TV. For lovers of fresh, original and cutting comedy this is a must have buy.

Winner of the 2003 Golden Globe for Best Comedy Series and receiving 8 Emmy nominations this year, Curb Your Enthusiasm is rightly hailed as 'easily one of the smartest, funniest sitcoms ever made' (Arena) and 'comedy genius' (Hotdog).
