Makin' Baby

Details

Makin' Baby is a hilarious new urban comedy starring Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum rapper Mystikal (13 Dead Men), former Black Eyed Peas vocalist Kim Hill, former New York Jets pro footballer Aaron D. Spears (Blue Hill Avenue; 2 G's And A Key) and award-winning actress Portia Realer (Keepin' It Real).

Newlyweds Alicia and Michael are having some difficulty coming to terms with the pressures of marriage. Their non-stop arguing and bickering is hardly tempered when Alicia decides the time is right to start a family, just as Michael is about to begin focussing on his budding career as a rapper.

Barely contained turmoil turns to outright chaos when Michael is "discovered" by famous rapper Skinny Jones (Mystikal) and his sexy, manipulative, female record company executive. Forced to choose between fame and his domestic responsibilities, Michael must decide if following his dream is the true path to happiness. Already confused, he isn't helped at all by the intervention of his friends who, in turn, play "angel" and "devil" to Michael's conscience.

Makin' Baby takes a candid and amusing look at modern day attitudes to marriage and the effects lust, greed and envy can have on a young couple's ideas of what constitutes marital bliss.

Makin' Baby is released on DVD by Anchor Bay UK on 26th April 2004.
