Dive into a modern day underwater fairytale with the splash hit Aquamarine, released to buy and rent onto DVD from 16th October 2006 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. Based on the watery novel by Alice Hoffman and starring pop princess Jo Jo, the film is filled with friendship, fun and secret crushes!

Best friends Claire (Emma Roberts, Spymate) and Hailey (Jo Jo) are having the best summer of their lives, hanging out at the local swimming pool in the sunshine, and secretly admiring the gorgeous lifeguard Raymond (Jake McDorman). However, at the end of the holidays Hailey's mum is relocating them to Australia and the girls grow concerned over whether their friendship will last the distance.

The girls' adventure really begins after a stormy night when they come across a mermaid called Aquamarine (Sarah Paxton, Lizzie McGuire) has been washed ashore and taken up residence in the local pool. As Aquamarine struggles to discover a new world beyond the sea, she enlists the help of Claire and Hailey to prove to her father that true love does exist, and promises to grant them a wish if she succeeds!

Aquamarine's father agrees to give her three days to find true love, or she will have to marry an undesirable merman! Claire and Hailey come up with 'Project Love' and together they hope that as long as Aquamarine can keep her land legs and avoid sprouting her massive, mythological tail, everyone will see their wishes come true!

With a net full of special features including a cool on-set featurette, deleted scenes and introduction by director Elizabeth Allen, this DVD will add sparkle and a touch of magic to any DVD collection.
