The Change-Up

Details

Beat the January blues with the jaw-dropping comedy The Change-Up as it explodes on to high-definition Triple Play Blu-ray and DVD from 23rd January 2012 courtesy of Universal Pictures.

Starring the rip-roaring comical geniuses of Ryan Reynolds (Just Friends, The Proposal) and Jason Bateman (Horrible Bosses, Arrested Development), with the super sexy Olivia Wilde (TRON: Legacy, Cowboys & Aliens) as the hot legal associate, this mad-cap comedy is guaranteed to have you in stitches throughout the New Year.

From the writing geniuses that brought you The Hangover and the directors of Wedding Crashers comes the unlikely tale of two best friends who don't know how good they have it! For self-involved 'player' Mitch, best friend Dave appears to have the perfect life; a super-hot wife and a house with a fridge stocked full of food. For Dave, Mitch embodies everything that he has given up; a sex-fuelled, layabout lifestyle which seems ideal in comparison to his own dull, married life. But after they drunkenly urinate in a fountain, each wakes up in an unknown and unexpected bed - each other's! As each friend tries (and fails) to impersonate the other with uproarious consequences, this laugh-out-loud comedy questions how far you would go for friendship.

Jam-packed with side splitting scenes too rude and crude for the cinema, from extreme baby poo moments to sexual positions that would make your eyes water, plus nine minutes of bonus footage, The Change-Up is released on Triple Play Blu-ray and DVD from 23rd January 2012 courtesy of Universal Pictures. The perfect addition to your movie collection, welcome in the New Year with smash hit comedy The Change-Up!

Synopsis

Growing up together, Mitch (Ryan Reynolds) and Dave (Jason Bateman) were inseparable best friends, but as the years have passed they've slowly drifted apart. While Dave is an overworked lawyer, husband and father of three, Mitch has remained a single, quasi-employed man-child who has never met a responsibility he liked.

To Mitch, Dave has it all: beautiful wife Jamie (Leslie Mann), kids who adore him and a high-paying job at a prestigious law firm. To Dave, living Mitch's stress-free life without obligation or consequence is a world away from his sensible, settled lifestyle. Following a drunken night out together, Mitch and Dave's worlds are turned upside down when they wake up in each other's bodies and proceed to freak out.

Despite the freedom from their normal routines and habits, the guys soon discover that each other's lives are nowhere near as rosy as they once seemed. Further complicating matters are Dave's sexy legal associate, Sabrina (Olivia Wilde) and Mitch's estranged father (Alan Arkin). With time not on their side, Mitch and Dave comically struggle to avoid completely destroying each other's lives before they can find a way to get their old ones back.
