Billie Eilish's spectacular Hit Me Hard and Soft world tour arrives on UK Blu-ray, bringing together the Grammy-winning singer and legendary filmmaker James Cameron for an immersive concert experience that combines spectacular live performances with a more intimate look at one of music's biggest stars.
Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour captures the singer at the height of her international success, performing songs from her acclaimed third studio album alongside some of the biggest hits from her career.
But this isn't simply another concert recording. Co-directed by Eilish and James Cameron, the filmmaker behind Titanic, Aliens, The Terminator and the Avatar franchise, the production brings a distinctly cinematic approach to the traditional concert film. The collaboration is an unexpected one, pairing one of contemporary music's most distinctive performers with a director renowned for pushing the technical boundaries of filmmaking.
Filmed during four performances at Manchester's Co-op Live arena, Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour captures the scale, energy and emotion of Eilish's hugely successful world tour. The production employed an extensive camera setup, including specially positioned cameras designed to capture unusual perspectives of the performance without disrupting the atmosphere of the live shows. The result is intended to place viewers closer to the action, moving between spectacular views of the arena, intimate close-ups of Eilish and the reactions of thousands of fans.
The concert celebrates Eilish's third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which was released in May 2024 and continued her hugely successful creative partnership with her brother and producer, FINNEAS. The album further developed the distinctive sound that had established Eilish as one of the most recognisable voices in contemporary pop, combining atmospheric production, vulnerable songwriting and moments of surprising musical intensity.
Among the performances featured in the concert film are Birds of a Feather, one of the album's biggest hits, and earlier favourites including Bad Guy, {iWwhen the Party's Over and Happier Than Ever. The set also includes What Was I Made For?, the Academy Award-winning song from the soundtrack to Barbie. Together, these performances provide an overview of Eilish's remarkable rise from teenage breakthrough artist to international superstar.
For established fans, the film offers an opportunity to revisit the atmosphere of the tour, while newcomers are given an introduction to the music and stage presence that have helped make Eilish such a significant figure in modern popular culture.
Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour is available on UK Blu-ray 28th September 2026 from Paramount Home Entertainment.
