Details

Dragged on a fishing trip vacation to the woods, two self-absorbed teens Lisa (Malina Weissman - A Series of Unfortunate Events) and Eric (Anthony Turpel - The Bold & The Beautiful) venture off trail and stumble across a remote farm. Inside, a gruesome scene awaits - animal heads adorn the walls.

What unfolds next is a desperate fight for survival against a seemingly unstoppable deaf and cannibalistic pig farmer, who uses his "produce" to create a horrifying side hustle - human jerky.

Directed and co-produced by Italian filmmaker Salvatore Sclafani, indie horror film The Hermit stars Lou Ferrigno, best known for playing The Incredible Hulk in the '70s TV series of the same name.

The Hermit is released on DVD 16th March 2026 from Entertainment One.
