Tripp, Matthew McConaughey (How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Wedding Planner) has never been able to leave the home comforts of the family nest - he enjoys an easy life too much. That is until Tripp's parents get involved and introduce Paula, played by Golden Globe® winner Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City, The Family Stone); into his life to win his heart and nudge him out of home with hilarious consequences in Paramount Home Entertainment's release of Failure to Launch, released on DVD from 17th July 2006.

Spurred on by Tripp's lazy attitude towards moving out, his parents (Academy® and Golden Globe® Award Winner, Kathy Bates and football star, Terry Bradshaw) team up with Paula, a sassy 'interventionist', to hatch a plan and make him fall in love with her and forget all about his bachelor life at home.

A comical web of complications arise for Paula, when her crazy housemate Kit (Zooey Deschanel, Almost Famous) and Tripp's friends (Justin Bartha, National Treasure, and Bradley Cooper, Wedding Crashers) discover the truth about her job and get caught up in the spiralling drama! What is supposed to be a standard job for Paula turns out to be much more when she begins to realise that maybe this job is more than just business and she starts to fall in love with him.
